Currently available to select beta testers, the update enables users to add their Instagram username, creating a clickable link on their chat info page. Future updates may extend support to additional platforms, further streamlining social media integration.
To protect user privacy, WhatsApp has incorporated visibility controls, giving users the choice of who can see their linked accounts. Those who prefer to keep their profiles private can either restrict visibility or opt out of linking altogether.
